I was surprised when I downloaded/installed 6.03 I had to put in the card serial number. This is significant, high level technology :)

Oh, I'll certainly give it another shot once I get my 1080. I have nothing against the program, I just prefer the layout of Afterburner. If the new Precision X has actual improvements for EVGA cards, then I'll almost certainly switch over to it.Evga precision is a tool for tuning your EVGA graphics card for best performance. The program lets you overclock your EVGA graphics system by adjusting core, shader and memory clocks. The program also includes support for Logitech Keyboard LCD displays for displaying different GPU parameters on the Keyboard LCD.

Functionality and working
The best feature in this tool is OSD (On Screen Display) when game is running. EVGA Precison uses RivaTuner statistics server technology to enable OSD in games. You can change OSD rendering mode as Vector 2D,Vector 3D or Raster 3D.
The Pirate Bay, along with some other torrent sites, has added support for, a plugin that lets users stream movies directly in their browsers. 
But adding the Torrents Time plugin to a browser means users can now click on the video they want to watch on The Pirate Bay, and it’ll start streaming immediately. Until now, The Pirate Bay only allowed users to download content, using a BitTorrent client like Vuze. The OSD is not enabled by default but you can enable it by following the steps below:
- Run EVGA Precision and open Properties.
- In the Monitoring tab, select what you want to show on the OSD or Logitech keyboard LCD display e.g GPU temperature, Fan Speed, Memory Usage, Frame-rate.
- Click on any of the item and then click on Show in On-Screen Display.
